The Romanian language is spoken by approximately 25 million people, mostly in Romania and in Moldova. Large minorities of Hungarians can be found in Romania, Slovakia & Serbia, and also in North America.

Since the year 2000, Romania has experimented one of the best economic recovery in the world. In terms of purchasing power, the country is progressively catching up with Central European countries. Romanians abroad are generally succeeding well, thanks to their very high education level.

The internet sector is relatively well-developped in Romania and monetization of websites and domains has been made possible by Google adsense in Romanian and other advertising agencies. The market for domain names in Romanian has not really started yet, but this will surely start soon.
